NormandieFoodie is based at La Fromentale a 1770’s milking barn built by Benedictine monks which has been converted to a five-bedroom comfortable home in the Calvados department of the Normandy region.
The Farmhouse is available for hosted foodie tours and bed and breakfast stays from March through May and, September through November each year. The Farmhouse is also available for rent as a whole through the Summer and Winter through AirBNB links below.

WISH WE COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER!
Spent six nights at La Fromental B&B with host Nola. The setting was exactly what we were looking for - rural France with local experiences of life and people. Nola is one fabulous cook and in addition to her own specialties we also had locally made jam, butter, fresh croissants and bread daily. Our itinerary was a bit on the fly because of other changes but Nola came up with suggestions and was so flexible in arranging great local and not so local visits and experiences. Her local knowledge and contacts was hugely helpful. The room and bathroom were spacious, lovely thick towels, shower had great pressure with plenty of hot water and comfy bed.

WONDERFUL FRENCH COUNTRY SETTING
My wife Glenda and I have just spent a wonderful 7 nights at Normandie Foodie.
We highly recommend this B & B for its lovely French country setting and quality living quarters. Add to this all the historical buildings and townships within less than a few hours drive made this an ideal holiday location for us. Last but not least is host Nola for her hospitality, knowledge of of the area and fine breakfasts with a smile and a laugh. Thank you Nola
